Hey there!
I'm Lauren - the owner of Sparrows & Lilies Photography. I’m 30 years old, a self-taught photographer, avid hiker, and adventurer alongside my husband and our two cats.
Ever since I was little, I have had a camera in my hand. I started in landscape photography when I was 18 and then moved to portrait photography 2 years ago. I found that I deeply enjoyed getting to know people and being able to capture their personalities and relationships in small quiet moments.
I love to create an environment that is peaceful and yet also exciting and fun, giving my clients the opportunity to enjoy each other in the moment.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I usually send a preview of 15-20 images within 1-2 weeks and the full gallery 1-2 weeks after that!
If there's an urgent need to get photos sooner, I will be happy to discuss options with you.
For weddings you will receive a 5-10 sneak peek within 48 hours and your full gallery 6 weeks after.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I'm flexible and willing to make it work for you and your session.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! Wherever makes you feel most yourself - the beach, mountains, in home, or a studio, I'll be there!
There is a $25 travel fee for anything an hour outside of Salem, Oregon
Can you help with me what to wear?
Of course!! I will be happy to discuss any ideas or inspiration you have and how to make colors work in your session
